Where to buy AP?
New member and so glad i found this site. I have been looking at getting an AP and have finally chosen the RO 15400 in pink gold, white dial with brown strap. This is my problem, I live in Maine and no one sells AP or really anything besides Rolex. I have been looking online on where to buy. I have found pricing a little all over the place from retail pricing to a few thousands lower. I have called a few sellers and have mixed feelings. Can anyone recommend a place that they fell they have been treated fairly? I have a few things to consider, first I would rather pay a little more but get great customer service, second if I can avoid sales tax that would be great and lastly I don't want to pay retail.any and all advice is greatly appreciated!Cheers
New addition to my collection!
Last week, I was in a dilemma (more like a trilemma but yea, it was narrowed down to two) between Safari and Panda. And when I tried them on, I just had to go with the Panda (No wonder there's so much hype about it!). Nothing wrong with Safari, still a thing of beauty but the Panda had a buzz to it.Here are a few shots of my new baby:(P.S. What do you lads think about the size on me?)Slightly 'loose' strap:Strap tightened a bit more:
Seamaster Pro 300 bracelet advice
Hi, I have a SMP 300 I bought in 2000 which I sent off recently to Omega for servicing. They have replied that they highly recommend a new bracelet as they are unable to repair, refurbish, and guarantee the security due to heavy strain to the factory sealed links and also heavy strain to the rest of the links and the clasp To be honest I had no idea there was any problem with the bracelet but now cannot decide if I should get it replaced (not cheap!!) but the watch has high sentimental value and is my daily beater. Is it a risk to not have it changed, what are the potential problems if I decide not to?Any suggestions gratefully recieved. Thanks

Incoming....first Patek
Happy New Year's everyone--I apologize for the length of this one. After much deliberation and debate I'm happy to announce that I am the proud owner of a new Patek Philippe 5711. Fortunately here in Hong Kong they are quite easy to source so once my mind was made up it only took a few hours to locate. Special thanks to Soly (Soly20) and Dan (dddrees) for their words of enabling wisdom , as well as the beautiful pics posted by HL65, Kilyung, martinr (though I think he may have sold his), and CWIN to name a few Also, this wouldn't be possible without Jorge's (JorgeCCW) less is more philosophy that I applied in funding this purchase. You may not agree with the 5711 but I definitely feel good about letting go of some of the others and adding a keeper. Thanks, Jorge! I wanted to highlight one brilliant thing about the Nautilus that I haven't heard mentionedthe chameleon effect this watch has where it picks up/reflects the colors that it is surrounded by (i.e. the shirt you are wearing
