Top 10 Watches At SIHH 2014
The watches-dealer team has just returned from the 2014 edition of the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie watch trade show in Geneva - otherwise known as the SIHH. If you aren't already aware of what this show is about; it is one of a few major watch trade events each year where new products are debuted. SIHH is operated by the Richemont Group and a few other participating brands. There are about 16 brands that show there. The other major Swiss watch trade show is Baselworld that happens later in the year around March - and a lot more brands present there. SIHH is an important event and helps us understand what some of the major luxury brands are doing, and what their focus will be for this year and beyond.While we saw and photographed many new and amazing watches, there are a few that stood out as the top timepieces. Planet Ocean AR Coating
Im looking into getting a Planet Ocean as my Daily Driver. I love the way it looks and I think its a great watch for the money. However, the more Ive been reading the more im getting worried about the AR coating. I dont want to spend 3k on a watch only to have the face look like crap after a few months of wearing it. I know some people have just taken the outer layer off with Polywatch, but Im sure its hard to do without getting any on the bezel. Does anyone have any pics of their crystal after a year or more of wearing it? Who has had major issues with this and who hasnt? If its a big issue I may just save up a little more and get another Rolex. When I spend that kind of money, I dont want to have to worry about something like that.....

I recently ordered a Navy / Arctic White RubberB strap for my YMII. There aren't a lot of pictures of this combination on TRF so I took some for you guys. Overall the strap is pretty comfortable. I have a large wrist (~7.5) so the 12 o'clock side is much longer than the 6 o'clock side causing the clasp to be off-center. I'm getting used to it. The quality is very good and it gives the watch a very summery and even more of a nautical feel.
