Hi Guys,I'm looking to pickup a ROO from a fellow member on the forum here. The watch is in the below link and the member seems as legit as they come. I have never purchased something off the forum so i wanted to know a couple general Q's..1) has anyone done business with him?2) when purchasing from the forum, does the AD paperwork come with my name?3) what do i say if ever asked from AP where i purchased it from?4) what are the disadvantages of buying from a forum member?.rolexforums/showthread.php?t=482490
My First Breitling. Super Avenger 2 from AD.
Finally decided on the Super Avenger 2 instead of the Avenger Hurricane. This the first watch I have ever bought from an AD since the price was so good compared to the gray market. I love the Warranty Card that is basically an electronic card. Now I have my Two Tone Rolex Submariner, Panerai Pam90 and my Breitling Super Avenger 2.
Please help identify an old omega
So I found this Omega at my parents, we've had it ever since I can remember. From looking at it, obviously I can see that it says Seamaster. However, I've been checking online for vintage/old omega's and just can't find this model. It still works and I have no idea if its real or not (i think it should be). Any information would be great!
Omega P.O. Chronograph vs Breitling Super Avenger
Newbie here...I just want some opinions on which one holds their value longer over time? P.O. Chrono or the Super Avenger?P.S. I'm still working on my first nice timepiece. I've narrowed it down to either P.O. chrono or sub LV....
Question about Guillermin Co in regards to a 1948 ref 96
I recently received my ref 96 back from service and got the Extract from the Archives as well, it was my grandfather’s watch and its been passed down. My dad always thought he bought it in the early 50s, but according to the extract from the archives it was purchased in 1948, which is pretty cool because my grandfather had to flee the Czech Republic and then fought during the war so he had nothing, and he must have done fairly well in the three years from the end of the war to when he bought this.My question is does anyone have information on Guillermin & Co? I see here on the Extract from he Archives that it says the case “112” was provided by Guillermin & Co, and there is no registered case number from PP. It also says that the type of watch is movement only. Does this mean that the movement was purchased by Guillermin & Co, and then cased by them and sold as a Patek Philippe? Any info would be nice, I am just trying to get some info about this watch as
