Looking for some advice from the experts.
Hi Folks,I love the passion of the AP forum and look forward to having one myself soon. I'm trying to decide between 15400 and the diver. I am a casual dresser and sporty person. My feeling is that the 15400 is classic and a lifetime watch. I do however like the heft and look of the diver greatly. I'm caught up in the mindset of do I get what I like more now or get what I think is a forever piece. (That is not to say the Diver cant be a forever piece also though). I can't get them both as I'm sure many would like to suggest. My current collection is 116610 LV, 216570 polar, patek 5711 blue, PAM 359. I have included some snaps from an AD visit recently.cheersMichael
Thinking about buying a Cosmic
Hey all,I'm thinking about buying a late 1960s Seamaster Cosmic. The case serial number is 166.026. And movement 565. Do you all have any advice? Or can you tell me anything about it? It's all gold plated - even the back. I'm either gonna get the Cosmic or a Seamaster De Ville. Thanks
Q: Buying a GMT BLNR pre-Basel?
I'm going to buy a BLNR as my next watch. I love GMTs. Rolex makes the best GMTs in my judgment. I have always loved the black and blue bezel. I have the opportunity to buy from a TS at what I consider a fair price. With that as context, is it mistake to buy this week in the context of a potential upgrade to the 3235 movement? What are the puts and takes - and any other considerations?

A timeless classic just got 'smarter'.
Can a fluted bezel be added later by Rolex?
Looking at a DJ2 with the smooth bezel and wondering if later down the road i can send it in to rolex to have the fluted bezel put on? If so any idea of the cost?
