The Rolex Prince is not only not terribly well known –even to Rolex aficionados –it’s almost shockingly unknown; in the days we had ours in for review, quite a lot of pretty hard-core watch people saw it, and it was mistaken for . . . well, mistaken for just about everything but a Rolex. Hi,Back from Vacation with my new Panerai 339.Thought I'd take a family shot.
Is it possible for crystal to be etched? (hard water?)
I just noticed that my newer SD43 crystal appears to be etched, the marks look just like hard water spots on a car. Very disconcerting.- I've already rinsed with water and washed with soap, soft sponge - no difference- I'm 100% sure the spots are there. Under certain angles and different lighting I can't see them, but under my desk lamp they are clearly visible.- Once seen, cannot be unseen.... I sometimes play with different chemicals such as brake parts cleaner, carb cleaner etc. I don't recall getting anything on here but that's likely it. How to get this off? CLR? Hit it with a buffing pad an Dremel? Automotive cutting compound? Nail polish remover? SkyDweller Disappointment
I visited one of the local ADs today and tried on both the new SkyDweller and the old SeaDweller. I learned that I can't wear a watch larger than 40mm. Very disappointed. The SeaDweller was a nice watch, but there wasn't anything about it that made me like it better than the Sub. Oh well, back to thinking about the Sub.

Every young soul has a dream profession that sooner or later we have to part ways due to various life reasons, other have the privilege to live the ultimate dream. Just wanted to make a different thread where we can just share these Ultimate dream professions and which Rolex would you be using for that profession. As of today, I am an Architect and Entrepreneur and I love what I do everyday, but my dream profession would be traveling the world as a National Geographic photographer and my watch would be an Explorer 1.
