LG GD910 Watch 3G HSPDA Phone; Tells Time, Makes Calls, Not That Dorky
You might be thinking that this is just some gimmicky concept, or another of those skepticism filled no-name Chinese watch phones, but you'd be wrong (it is Korean, not Chinese). And it is from large manufacturer LG nonetheless, which signifies a new era for Dick Tracy wannabes. With an official announcement due at CES (the consumer electronics show) soon, the LG GD910 is a fully functional 3g (and 7.2mps HSPDA) watch phone with most of the bells and whistles in its non-wrist worn counterparts. LG calls is a "wrist phone." It even supports voice-to-text commands as well two way video conferencing. Talking on the phone is done in one of three ways. You either hold the watch phone up to your ear likewell, an idiot, use the speaker phone function, or more logically Bluetooth. All in all, the people using this wrist phone at CES have been loving it.In what is likely to be a device with abyssal battery (well maybe not that bad), the LG GD910 features a touch screen and microphone, as well a
Shipping to Tokyo
Happy Easter gentlemen!I will be vacationing in Tokyo for about 2 weeks and was contemplating having a Nautilus 5711 shipped from one of the sellers in the US. Does anyone have any idea about something like this with regards to the feasibility and import/ customs duties?Best,Anirudh
Side by side pics of sub vs sd43 vs dssd?
Trying to get a sense of the size difference. 40 vs 43 vs 44. How about depth? I thought the dssd was around 17mm? Not sure about sd43 or sub?
My SubC with a view
Out for vacation in fabulous Las Vegas and staying at the Wynn! Room comes with a fabulous view! Am hoping to maybe get lucky and find my sub C LV while I'm here!
Two hour flight for my rolex
So my local AD has me on a ~3 month wait-list for my watch, while a more distance AD seems to suggest that I can get one within the month. Although I would have to hop on a plane for 2 hours (4 hours round trip) to pick up said watch. Tax savings and/or perceived (read assumed) discount will more then cover the cost of a ticket. Of course I am not hoping on a plane until the distance AD text me a picture of my watch. Is there any downside from getting a watch from AD that won't be readily accessible going forward? Would potentially make a day trip out of this when/if availability raises.
