Ball Engineer Master II Slide Chronograph Watch, Slipping To The Future
When I first read about the new Ball Engineer Master II Slide Chronograph, I for some reason had the refrain of "Time keeps on slipping, slipping, slippinginto the future" pop into my head. Is this new Ball the future of chronographs? Well, time will tell. For now, though, it definitely is an intriguing iteration. If you were only to look at the dial of the new Ball Engineer Master II Slide Chronograph, you would have no problem identifying it as a chronograph: it has a traditional "tri-compax" layout with the 30-minute register up top, running seconds at 9, 12-hour register at the bottom, and a tachymeter scale around the outside. When you look to the side of the almost 48?mm case and see no pushers surrounding the crownthen you begin to question your assumptions.Slide In Its Neutral PositionOf course, a brand like Ball is not going to play games to give the appearance of a chronograph while actually tucking other functionality in;?so, how do you engage the chronograph? Last Chance To Enter And Win The Pulsar Automatic Watch
I think there has been some misunderstanding. A surprisingly low number of people entered to win the Puslar Men's Automatic watch. This really cool dress watch that has Pulsar made automatic movement, and is a nice 45mm wide in size. Pulsar is a Seiko group owned brand, and this timepiece is a glowing example of a modern, traditional Japanese mechanical dress watch. You can't sport a sport watch all the time? Retail price is $250. You have just a bit of time to enter before the giveaway ends at the end of August.Enter to win the Pulsar Men's Automatic Watch here.
Outcome of the 5712/1A price increase for collectors
I am interested in understanding how today's price increase by the manufacture on the 5712/1A timepiece will affect collectors' continued interest in that piece relative to other comparable options and have created a poll to help solicit some views on that.
Wife sent me a ransom note
I am 3,000 miles away and yet somehow my new to me PAM is out on the town (well at work in Midtown but still). Apparently she has no qualms about wearing a 45mm watch! Anyway, just thankful my AP's don't fit her.
16613 clasp polish query
Please see attached image and let me know if the portion inside the red circle is supposed to be Brush Finished or Shiny Finished(like the Centre gold links)I've searched the internet and found both kind of Finishes, but not sure what exactly came from the factory?Any picture of the clasp of an unpolished 16613 would be highly appreciated.
