LAST CHANCE: LGI Watch Collector Survey + Data Sharing
The LGI operated watch collector survey that we discussed last month will very soon be coming to a close. We recommend that all collectors check it out and participate if they are interested in the results. LGI has agreed to share the survey findings with all the participants who qualify and take the survey. We think that is pretty cool. See our original post here for more details and a link to take the survey.
A huge thanks to Vijay for the time and incredible images of Rolex .
The seller, Bob, comes by far with a great need of $66 100 and the experience of a lifetime already accomplished, only now, with a modest Timex attached to his wrist of content. A huge thanks to Vijay for the time and incredible images.
Would you trade a 26400 novelty for an 116619 smurf?
Hi All,I was thinking about trading my AP 26400SO + a bit of cash for a Rolex 116619 Smurf? I have always wanted a Rolex PM and I was just thinking that going from AP to Rolex is like taking a step down in a sense especially in this case when both watches are valued so closely in terms of $.What do you guys think? Would just want input to see if I'll pull the trigger or not. Thanks!
Audemars Piguet RO/ROO Photo Contest

All entries should be submitted by December 1st, 2011 and I will send the winner a small token of appreciation. No wrist shots allowed!!! Be creative and be bold!!!Here are two of my favorite pictures:
Speedmaster Reproduction
The person responsible for the following site has documented the reproduction of a pre-moon Speedmaster with the 321 movement:kawai3.hp.infoseek.co.jp/eng-speedmaster.htmlI have skimmed this site several times, and it remains unclear to me how this person acquired the necessary parts and at what cost.Do I correctly understand that genuine parts still exist on the retail market and that a person could build or have built a pre-moon Speedmaster with a 321 movement?A new Speedmaster (meaning, NOT a Speedmaster Professional) has a lot of appeal.I wonder why Omega has not reissued this watch and passed on the added expense of this level of quality to the customer. After all, look what people pay for a Rolex Daytona.I'd much rather have a new Speedmaster with a 321 movement (and a reproduction case back with no first watch on the moon writing).Does a market exist for a real reproduction from Omega (faithful except for the tritium)? And, does the 321 movment really represent a higher level of q
