We're back at it, folks. ?We have partnered back-up with Piaget to send one HODINKEE reader to Switzerland on an all expenses-paid look into one of the oldest and most impressive high-end manufacture in the world. ?There, the winner will be able to meet the watchmakers behind the lauded and critically acclaimed Altiplano Skeleton in white gold, as well as president and CEO?Mr. Philippe Lopold-Metzger. 2 OF 3 It is one thing to read about manufacture visits here on HODINKEE, but it is another thing entirely to experience one for yourself. ?We're lucky enough to do it occassionaly, and we are thrilled to be able to offer you a chance to do it by answering only ten questions. You may remember we ran a similar contest last year, after which winner Bao Nguyen recounted his amazing experience on HODINKEE.?This year's contest is very much the same and the concept is simple. 26400 vs 26401?
I tried searching for this topic, but couldn't find anything on it, so I apologize in advance if this has been covered previously. I'm new to the AP world and been perusing some of the models, and I noticed the 44mm rose gold model comes in 26400RO and 26401RO. Does any one know the difference between the two? Thanks!Eric

I thought the Seamasters were blue until I saw this water.
Is now the time to sell a 5711-blue dial?
I see the crazy prices on these. One dealer wants 47K. I am thinking now may be the time to sell. Not lose money. A first for me. Any thoughts.
BLNR used market
I'm confused. No one can buy a BLNR, none of the dealers have them in stock, demand is high, etc. Or so they say. Yet there are plenty for sale both used and BNIB here in the forum and they don't seem to move very quickly. Nice condition watches for slightly above and below $8K sit, unloved and unwanted, for months. New ones, priced around $8600 (give or take) loiter in the listings.Me, personally, I'm still waiting, watching, debating, wondering. Any ideas on what's going on?
