Kobold Launches Program to Train Sherpas as Watchmakers
Kobold has announced a program in which its U.S.-based watchmakers will train a group of Sherpas in the art of watchmaking. The former high-altitude mountain guides from Nepal's Himalaya region will begin learning how to assemble mechanical wristwatches in March. The one-year-long program also includes a basic course on managing a luxury business. After successfully completing the program at Kobold's Pittsburgh facilities, the Nepalese citizens will return to their native Mount Everest region to assemble Kobold watches destined for the company's Kathmandu retail store, which is expected to open in August of this year.Kobold expects to train two to three Nepalese citizens every year. The Mesiter Kalendar watch isn't over-designed, which is good. Germans are excellent at minimalist design when they wish to be. Though as a brand Junghans has taken the production of retro-themed timepieces quite seriously. They want this and other Meister collection wat
Choosing the next addition after narrowing things down. Help please!
I have narrowed down my choices and I have seen that obviously the Hublot and Cartier were not really even considered. I want to upload photos of the two watches I already have and the choices again and I am so sorry if this is considered spamming the forum but as a woman it's sometimes good to get the guys opinion. Attached are the watches I currently have.
