1995 Royal Oak Moon Phase
Hi just signed up hoping someone could helpI own a number of timepieces but not an AP I have seen a Royal Oak and love the particular model above, I have seen one on a jewellery acution site which has the following issue Quick day and date set are not currently functioning. When using the crown to change the day and date, the date currently changes but the day does not. Day set will require attention.I believe the watch may have previously been sold as I looked back in the auction archive and have found either the same watch or a different watch with the same issue, I have made the assumption someone brought it and either couldn't remedy the issue or did not want to pay for the repair. I'm not put off but would love someone to have a guess at the repair bill ?500- ?1k? Really appreciate feedback thanksLee
Great News on the Service of my 5402SA!!! Now in Le Brassus!!
I know I've been away for weeks as I've been extremely busy with work and traveling every week. After all the drama on my 5402SA and the APSC in Florida back in February, I asked them to send my watch directly to the manufacture in Le Brassus. I am so glad I did!I just got the estimate and everything that needs to be done will cost way less than what Clearwater had quoted me. The new estimate $2762 vs. $4398. Isn't this just ridiculous! I guess they need some properly trained watchmakers down in FL to do better assessments on the condition of timepieces. Something else that is just great is that they also offered case and bracelet refinishing. Can't wait to see what my puppy will look like when I get it back. Yay!!!Any way, just very happy with the news and wanted to share!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk. Watches are the new currency!

very new less than 1 month old. at first it was spot on then brought it to vacation with me. put it on jogging for 30 min then scuba diving.now all of a sudden running fast and i think its getting faster.what do i do?

No Pepsi and CHNR?
Stopped in to my local AD this afternoon for the hell of it (and to chit chat about the SS Pepsi waitlist I'm on with them). I was thinking of picking up a TT CHNR, so I inquired. Apparently not much of a waitlist and they were able to submit an order request to Rolex. Apparently not a sought after watch? Anyway, I found this interesting. The salesman said that my CHNR order request might get turned down by Rolex, since I'm on a list for the Pepsi. This was to avoid flippers. Has anyone else heard this? Is it possible for Rolex to turn you down from ordering two separate models at the same time?
