10 Interesting Facts About Marc Newson's Watch Design Work At Ikepod
Whether or not Apple decides to release an iWatch, iTime, iWhateversmartwatch in a few hours or a few months (UPDATE: They did. See the Apple Watch here), we know that the accomplished Australian industrial designer Marc Newson will more than likely be a big part of the design process of this upcoming and highly anticipated wearable computing device. A few days ago, I discussed the implications and virtues of Apple's decision to have Marc Newson join Jony Ive in designing products at the company. You cannot discuss Marc Newson and watches without talking at length about Ikepod.Ikepod is a luxury watch brand and it is technically still around, but it really isn't a big deal any longer - at least not like it was in the late 1990s and early 2000s. What happened? In addition to filing for bankruptcy in about 2003 and later being purchased by new investors, Marc Newson and Ikepod parted ways back in 2012.Even though the company has had its ups and downs from the start, the biggest asset of
Chrono cockpit advice
HiI have a Breitling Chrono Cockpit model number H1335812/654 rose gold on Brown Lizard skin strap , it is brand new and unworn , Would anyone know what it cost new ? or what I would be able to sell it for it has everything from new and is number 18 of 500 in the limited edition run .TIA
3rd PAM Recommendation
I currently own a PAM563 and a PAM610 that I consider a base brother/sister combination. I am looking to add a third Panerai in the Luminor 1950 case. The three I am considering are all favorites: the 233, 1305, and 372. While I do agree that 44mm would be a more appropriate size, I am clearly open to 47mm. I have other dive, GMT options in my collection, though they are not Panerai such that complication really isn't important to me so much as overall look. The 233 is appealing with its domed crystal, sandwich dial, size. The 1305 would add a Submersible to my collection and I would likely keep it on a rubber strap which is something I don't currently have in my collection. The 372 is obviously the purest Luminor 1950 and has the most heritage. I would be looking for a plexi crystal version. I am eager just to hear your input and see pictures which direction I should go. My collection currently consists of two Rolex Submariners, an Explorer II, a GMT-Master II, a Datejust 41

Does this make me a bad person
Well went Christmas shopping well the wife did so I decided to go into the ad and have a look. As we are all saying at the moment no sports at all so got chatting and I ordered a GMT BLNR to justify this to my wife (she has no interest in watches) I said that it was getting discontinued or should I say the ad said it was getting discontinued. Please make me feel better
