Michael Friedman Appointed Horological Director of Antiquorum USA
Antiquorum has announced that Michael Friedman has been appointed Horological Director of Antiquorum USA. Mr. Friedman will oversee all U.S. auctions and private sales from Antiquorum’s U.S. headquarters on Madison Avenue in Manhattan. Michael takes over the position from Charles Tearle who was named Head of Antiquorum’s Asian division in August of last year. Friedman’s career in watches and clocks began in 1996 at the Willard House & Clock Museum where he held the position of Assistant Curator and also apprenticed to conservator David Gow. In 1997, he joined The National Watch & Clock Museum as Curator where he co-developed 15,000 square feet of new exhibition space devoted to the history of time measurement. Source for Omega style straps?
Does anyone have a source for generic straps that look like the OEM Seamaster and PO rubber straps? I know about Isofrane.
My new 3513.50 Speedmaster!
My Omega collection is growing. Just picked this beauty up today! Feels great on the wrist although I must confess it will take a few days to deprogram from wearing the massive Planet ocean chrono the last month. Bought preowned from a great seller. Here's the required pics!

That s the way as PP ships its products no matter if new or usedI ve experienced some very slight accuracy problems in case of dial up(couple of seconds nothing major)and had a minor issue with the security clasp so i ve dropped my watch at my AD on the 2nd of February(this year🤓).I ve received a mail early this week that my watch ready for collection ,I ve picked up yesterday.Actually i ve expected a simple regulation not more specially knowing the extended service time customers experienced recently.Instead of a regulation PP did a full service on the watch and their jewellers strenghten the clasp closing mechanism. Please note the red mark on the crown -any idea what s that? All in all I m satisfied with the result and considering the full overhaul I find the return time very reasonable, some clients are complaining here since issues and service time i think it s fair to add the favourable experiences also.Enjoy your Sunday!
