Watch Experts Network: ‘Introducing the Oris Audi Sport Limited Edition II Chronograph (specs & price)’
Just after TAG Heuer and its Carrera Nismo Calibre 16 Chronograph, it's time for another manufacture, also known for its collection of watches inspired by racing cars, to announce its partnership with one of the teams engaged at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The result is a sporty chronograph dedicated to the previously-rewarded Audi R18 e-tron Quattro (winner in 2014). Here is the Oris Audi Sport Limited Edition II Chronograph that celebrates the second year of the landmark partnership between Oris and Audi Sport. The battle between racing teams and their sponsors will be on the track of Le Mans but also on the wrists this year, as, to be honest, the TAG Heuer Carrera Nismo Calibre 16 Chronograph and this new Oris Audi Sport Limited Edition II Chronograph share a lot of specifications, both for the design and the mechanics. The Oris shouldn't be underestimated though, as it has several arguments to win the race, starting with a long track record of producing high-performance motorsport time
Hands-On: With The Longines Single Push-Piece Chronograph 180th Anniversary Limited Edition (Live Pi
In case you haven't heard, Longines is celebrating their 180th anniversary this year, and they have released a special collection to celebrate. A highlight for us is the limited edition Single Push-Piece Chronograph, which is an awesome vintage-inspired column-wheel, mono-pusher chronograph.Longines has a rich history in producing great chronographs, and this piece is no exception. The limited edition Single Push-Piece (Ref. L2.774.8.23.x) has a 40mm 18k rose gold case that houses a Longines Calibre L788.2, developed with ETA (who call it the A08.261). The case has rounded sides and wears really nicely on the wrist. It's refreshing to try on a brand new, moderately-sized chronograph. 2 OF 18 The Decorated Movement and Case 3 OF 18 Vintage-Style Wire Lugs There's no mistaking the vintage inspiration on this watch. The vintage-style lugs, white lacquer dial, fancy arabic numerals, blued steel hands, script logo, and crown design all scream vint

Dial restoration / refurbishing ? Any good source except SC?
Hi guys. I need some help.I have an AP Rubberclad white dial so i got bored of it and purchased an aftermarket Black dial for my RC model. However i did notice some slight blemish on the white sub dials and a tiny scratch on the sub dial marker and dial surface. I got the dial for a low price and wanted to get my watchsmith to to replace the dial and hands but now the marks have been bugging me. Ive seen many websites offering refinishing service for dials but im unsure of their reputation. Does anyone here knows where i can send the dial to get it refurbished as good as new other then AP service center?
How accurate is your SD43 ?
My SD43 has been simply amazing when it comes to keeping time. Since I got it in middle of December 2017, the watch hasn't lost or gained 1 sec.I don't use any apps...I just see the second-hand hitting 12 every time my iPhone clock changes minutes. That's how I set it over two months ago. That's just crazy accurate for a mechanical piece.I wear it everyday and it sits on my nightstand when I sleep. None of my other Rolex or Omega watches has been this accurate. Is it the new movement ?Or did I just get lucky ?I am curious to know what other SD43 are like when it comes to keeping time.
