Can only keep one.....but which one ?
Unfortunately, I have to reduce the stable. Currently have:ROC 26331 black dialROO Elephant 26470ROO 44 TI Can only keep one. What's the most versatile? I'm usually in a shirt and tie at work but want something of an all rounder. Love the bracelet of the 26331 but can always get one for the elephant if I go that route. The 44 is an amazingly light and comfy...but does it work as the ONE ?For perspective, I also have a PP 5980r and an IWC BP. Would love to hear some thoughts! TIA.

When Old feels like New Again...
I haven't worn my RG Skeleton for more than 7 months now while it lies peacefully in my bank safe. I almost forgotten I own this watch until a new incoming thread in here reminds me of it. So finally I took it out to wear and do a quick strap swap to the original brown strap and Viola! It feels like a new watch I just bought. And want to share this pic. It tops my all time most liked in IG. I think it's deserved it's own thread Have a great weekend!

Late for a meeting? I don't think so!
Here is a little story you might all appreciate....So, I go to the weekly staff meeting and much to my surpise, I am the last one there. That seemed odd because I am never the last one.I looked at my Seamaster and its 9:57. I remarked that I was surprised everyone was there on time. My boss said I was late. I said, I don't think so. Its 9:57. He looked at the clock on the wall and said, Its 10:01. I said, Actually, I think your clock is wrong because I set my watch to time.gov run by National Institute of Standards. Boss says, How do you know your watch is right. I say, Because it is certifide by the official Swiss testing institute.Everyone looked dumbfounded. Discussion over. Seamaster, ~$3,000. Patek making life difficult
Guys,It seems to me that enjoying and collecting Patek watches is tough at this point in time. Many of the hot references are almost like seeking unobtainium. I am only thinking of the current references. The 5524 and 5711 blue dial are going for over list. The 5930 is seldom found (although it is in it's infancy). Nautilus's are tougher than ever to source. All this frustration is painful and yet in the end it really helps all of us protect our so called investment. (I struggle calling a watch an investment).Love them or hate them, Patek and their AD's do a good job protecting their brand yet I still find them so frustrating to predict and work with. Perhaps this varies depending upon where you live. I am thrilled I have a 5711 and empathize with those wanting one. Here is where I will get bashed - but for me I do think they should limit the availability on those who call the 5711 and 5167 as entry watches.
