Ulysse Nardin Executive Dual Time
For 2009 Ulysse Nardin introduces ceramic to the Executive Dual time collection. The 43 mm Executive is available in stainless steel and in 18 carat rose gold. Complications include an oversize date at 2, small seconds at 6, and Ulysse Nardin’s patented Dual Time display at 9 with ceramic plus and minus pushers at the 8 and 10 o'clock positions. When pressed, the pushers instantly adjust the hour hand to a different time zone while the home time indicator at 9 o'clock continues its 24 hour cycle. The movement is visible through a display back, and each case is individually numbered. The Executive Dual Time is water resistant to 100 meters. Both front and back crystals are sapphire, and the front crystal is anti-reflective. Available on an alligator or rubber strap with folding buckle.
The Mother of all Enabling Threads!!! AP Diver Back from Cayman!!!
Let me start this thread by saying that if you were considering getting a Diver this thread will convince you of pulling the trigger. I have some good eye-candy for all of you.I just returned from the Cayman Islands last night after a wonderful week there. My wife and I had a great time and enjoyed it very much. We did plenty of snorkeling, swimming, interacted with stingrays, smoked a few Habanos (Montecristo #4), tried on several APs, had some amazing meals and enjoyed my Diver more than any other diving watch I've owned. There's only one Audemars Piguet AD in Grand Cayman but with great inventory. The AD is Magnum Jewelers and they are extremely friendly and with great prices. Unfortunately I couldn't buy another piece as I've owned the Diver for less than a month. Magnum has several locations in the island but only two of them carry AP. The one at the Ritz-Carlton where we were staying carries only four to five pieces while one of the locations in Georgetown is extremely well stock
Omega Seamaster GMT Pics
I have since put the watch back on it's bracelet but here's the GMT on a leather strap. Just sharing.
How do you wear your tropical strap on the 5167a?
Having had my 5167a for 5 days now, I am loving it, but just wondering whether the tropical strap is a bit too snug. When it was fitted in the air conditioned AD environment it appeared to be perfect with some movement and not at all tight, but with the warmer weather now, I am noticing it is more snug - not digging in, but I can feel the clasp now when my wrist gets warm and it feels a little uncomfortable. I can't decide if it is too tight or not. I don't want it flopping around, but not sure if the slight irritation of the clasp is something I will get used to and will improve as the strap loosens up? I can get my little finger comfortably under the clasp if that gives you an idea. Any thoughts/comments? I am hoping I will not have to order a new strap.
