Angular Momentum Crown Jewels Of Nature Watches: Three Cockatoo Birds + One
Out of the four new watches in this collection from Swiss Angular Momentum I like the painting of the Kingfisher bird the best. The little guy has a nice proud look and is wonderfully rendered in relative miniature on the reserve of the sapphire crystal. You don't get one of the Angular Momentum Artisan Collection Timepieces because you want the latest wild looking timepiece. You get them because you are an art lover and want to combine fine art with your need to tell the time on your wrist. As I continue to see more and more of these master painted watches in the Verre ??glomis style that Angular Momentum does so well, I begin to realize their place in the wrist watch world. They represent a more refined luxury. Some of the people who purchase these watches might not ever even wear them - instead leaving them in a box for display among other like pieces. Lady love?
Which would you recommend for your significant other? 7200 vs 7010?Both beautiful in their own right, i know ladies love jewelry looking time pieces like 7010 the but the movement and breguet numbers of the 7200 is hard to ignore. All i know is that it has to be rose gold. Wife's watches are a datejust 31mm ss/wg and a JLC Reverso WG. Not sure if id get her but you never know since Christmas is just around the corner All inputs are most welcome.
No Steel Sports Rolex in Vegas
I visited nearly all the Vegas ADs this week, and none of them had any subs, GMT, not to mention Sea Dweller, Sky Sweller, Daytona (of course). When I asked if they had one in the back safe they laughed at me. I told them this is no laughing matter...for them. None of us must have a Rolex watch, but they MUST sell these watches to make a living. Rolex have lost their mind.Below is a wrist shot of my GMT at Zion National Park. While hiking a steep pile of rocks with my kids I had a slight slip and heard a crunch as the bracelet scraped the rocks. Funny thing is there are already so many scratches over the 11 years I have been wearing this watch that I couldn't even tell which scratch was the new one!
Rolex Daytona Ref 6262
Not many of these were made, heard numbers are somewhere around 1700 or so... Hard to believe this thing cost $300 back in the day. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
