Previous ROO 44mm RG discontinued already?
Hi Guys, Can i check if the previous model of ROO 44mm RG has been continued already. I find the dials for previous model more readable than the new model. Thanks for reply.
Your thoughts?
Do you like the PVD diver, seems new edition of 2015, with metal bracelet and rubber strap?Since I can forget about getting one day the ceramic one, 2 on Chrono 24, in the USA and in Japan, while there are quite a few FC divers, this one is nice also, I like the blue on the dial in fact and also like PVD watches, well they say PVD but I guess it's DLC, if it's PVD no way as it scratches easily, it's not too expensive also, but I guess it needs to be seen in real, here's a few not very good pics, what do you think? I prefer the ceramic diver but by the time I have the funds for one it will probably be impossible to get one 3284743d_xxl.jpg3280368b_xxl.jpg
Saphire case back RO Chrono?
I recently went to a watch fair where i chatted with the people in the AP booth. I tried the RO Chrono ref. 26320 on and asked why the watch has a solid case back instead of a saphire case back as most other RO models. The kind woman gave me an explanation on why and added, that AP is currently working on a new caliber for the RO Chrono which will have saphire case back.Do any of you know anything about this new caliber and a possible saphire case back for the RO Chrono ?
How much sport is too much?
So far I didn't wear any watches worth mentioning, and I didn't give a thought about how to make them last. If they broke I just retired them. Now that I bought a Seamaster, and service costs around $400 I'd rather stay away from chopping wood. How much activity can a Seamaster take? Can I without problems do every kind of sport with it such as tennis and running, or should I rather get a dispensable watch for that?
Incoming! Round two, and I'm not letting go this time.
My first Patek was the 5712/1a. I loved it, but naively I sold it to fund bigger and better. That was a mistake. I will learn from my mistake and not be doomed to repeat it. I received today my new 5712/1a. It's in the box still as it was delivered to me in the office. It's going to be a long day before I can get to the local Patek AD to get it sized. Here's the first pic, more to follow once it's sized and on the wrist. P.S. Having called multiple ADs around the country, the 5711 is no where to be found. I was added to two lists as I may pair it (the 5711 white dial, though) with the 5712 if/when my name is called. And, there were only two 5712s available (I probably called about 20 ADs). Thanks for looking!
