Raven Defender Watch Launched Via Kickstarter
Wea?ve covered watches from Benarus and Raven in the past, and now Raven has taken to Kickstarter to launch the Defender, a new model with an unexpected design and decidedly strong value proposition. While Raven, a sister company to Benarus, is generally known for making nicely priced homages to watches like the Rolex Submariner, the Raven Defender is an entirely different concept that blends the easy-wearing charm of a field watch with the functionality of an aviation derived dual-crown design and the specs of a Benarus dive watch. The Kickstarter campaign runs until mid November and allows Raven to offer a considerable discount on a wide variety of case finishes and multiple dial colors. My SS Diver - Fresh from the Spa
My new SS Diver was sent in to Singapore APSC for service, change to a new bezel and some light polishing. Now, two months after, the watch comes back looking like new again. Very happy about the job done. Please to share some pics. This watch has been with me for 5 years now.

The vertical lines are actually more pronounced in the pics than in real life. I love the versatility of this piece. More elegant/classy than the divers IMO but still very sporty. Looks different in different lighting....
5980/1a is discontinued

The perfect Rolex combo meal deal?
I saw a guy online who had a watch collection his collection consisted of 2 Rolex watches. A 14270 and a 16570. Something about that pairing just made a lot of sense. I admired the simplicity.
