Watches NEWS
Glashutte Original Seventies Panorama Date for BaselWorld 2011
They have inspired a new look in art and design, still visible today in the suppression of the artifacts of a memorable decade. The 1970s offered exciting new ways of seeing the world, incredible images of Earth taken from the moon to big screen fantasies fiction such as Star Wars and Star Trek.
A new arrival: AP Roo Navy
A short while ago I posted that I was interested in the navy & got some good responses. Well I bit the bullet and here she is. Not a fan of the hornback clasp but hopefully I will get used to it. but overall I am loving this watch. Your watch at airport security
Just curious to hear what you do when asked to remove your watch?Do you remove it an put it directly in the little plastic box provided by security or do you put it in a carry-on bag so as not to scratch it? Or do you travel with the little green watch pouch provided by Rolex or something similar?I just got mine a few weeks ago and will be traveling soon. Might take the little green pouch/sleeve with me and put it in my carry-on bag just before security.
Ceramic SS Daytona vs. WG Daytona 116509
I am on the waiting list for the new Ceramic Daytona but I am also thinking about a pre-owned white gold Daytona #116509. What would you rather own? Which one should I get? I would like to hear from owners of these watches as well as anyone with an opinion!
Bracelet options UK based
I have a 15210 date. Bought and worn daily for 25 years. Great watch but oyster bracelet becoming worn. The watch obviously has limited value now. What options do I have to get the bracelet overhauled or replaced without buying new from Rolex?
