The Breguet Tradition Automatique Seconde Rtrograde 7097
There are a lot of intense words in Breguet's press release for this watch – "outstanding," "faultless," "peened" – that lead me to believe they are still basking in the glow of that 2014 Grand Prix Aiguille d'Or. Make no mistake, however – the Tradition Automatique Seconde Rétrograde (which makes its formal debut at Baselworld) is a very different watch than the Classique Chronométrie that took home the watch industry's top honors. The movement is exposed, resulting in a cool, neo-luxury look with fine movement specs to back it all up. 1 OF 2 In contrast to the complex movement on display, the shape of the 40 mm, 18k white-gold case is simple and straight-forward, with a perfectly circular polished bezel and straight lugs (with a little bevel at the end). Suggest a strap (NATO? Bund?) for my vintage omega
I have an old 60-70s Omega constellation which came with a steel bracelet.I've tried putting a black crocodile but it just doesn't look quite good and it gets 0 wrist time.I was thinking I could revitalize the look with maybe a NATO strap or a bund strap.Any suggestions?Has anyone seen a conny on nato?Another thing is I was wondering what you guys think about polishing the case.
Hidden factors in picking the right Rolex.
Closing in on my first Rolex and I've not really narrowed down which reference I really want, if anything the references under consideration only keep growing!I know from some of my other interests (cars, clothing, even cookware) that sometimes what you THINK you want isn't actually the one that will give you the most satisfaction. So my question is: are there things in your life that you should consider that will impact the kind of Rolex you might like? For example I work a lot in offices, I'm a creative person, I dress with some flair but pretty casually -- does that perhaps mean I should consider X Rolex rather than Y? What are some factors that you hadn't considered that ultimately did affect your satisfaction? And just so you know, I'm actually kind of enjoying not being able to pick a Rolex. So many to choose from!!
