PP 5711 vs AP RO 15202
I'm trying to decide between a 5711 vs the AP RO 15202 39mm extra thin as my next watch. Both with the blue dial. Not sure I will be able to swing both, at least not for the foreseeable future. Curious as to opinions from those who might own both as to what their preference and recommendation might be. Cheers.
New Luminors - PAM1000 & PAM1005
Saw this on Paneristi and would like to know what you guys think ? OR Officine Panerai announced the discontinuation of the models PAM0000 and PAM0005 in favor of the face-lifted versions sporting the latest revisions of the Luminor Marina 44mm product group. The new models will be named PAM01000 and PAM01005. The Italian origin Swiss watchmaker Officine Panerai announced that the models PAM00000 and PAM00005 will be discontinued. Known to be the two best sellers of the brand, those legendary models will be face-lifted referring to the latest revisions in the Luminor Marina 44mm product line and named as PAM01000 and PAM01005 respectively.
No more waiting... Platinum, Ceramic GMTs (pics)
With the teaser promising the donning of the jubilee on a sports model, presumably a new GMT, the speculation and wishful thinking for a platinum GMT model has all but dwindled to a whisper approaching the final day before the big reveals. So, I thought I would add a small contribution, as my own teaser, for what is unlikely to come to pass as another Basel comes and goes. New Coke, or Blueberry, or Pepsi, or LN offered on jubilee should be enough to hold us over for the next 11 months --or two weeks-- before the Basel 2019 predictions start If the general consensus is that the WG sports models didn't sell too well, what would be the rational that a higher priced similarly toned model would do any better? I assume the Daytona may be an anomaly, or off limits to discuss, since I can't recall any discussions on how good or bad sales may be for the PM models.
