Bavarian Crono Offers Volkswagen Instrument Panel Homage Collection Of Watches (1946-1970s)
This will not be the first time that a watch face was designed after an automobile instrument panel, but this time there is no hiding the fact. In an obvious wave to the cultural icon that Volkswagen cars have been for so many over the years, Bavarian Crono ("Chrono" for us English minded folks) offers a line of watches that have very faithfully mimicked the look and feel of selected classic VW instrument panels. Currently there are 10 watches in the collection, but I suspect more will be added if this collection grows more popular (Bavarian Crono already has a few Mercedes-Benz and Jaguar themed watches).Bavarian Chrono started by taking a look at the exact instrument gauges in only VW Beetles. You are probably thinking that all the dial is, is the speedometer. Well in a lot of these cars, that is all there was. No tachometer, not much else. That is why a lot of the warning lights, fuel gauge, etcare packed into this singular dial,?? and all that is reproduced in the corresponding wat

Speedmaster Pro Pricing
Hello all,I have been lurking on the site for awhile and am starting to look into an Omega purchase. I am looking to buy a new Speedmaster Pro (3570.50.00). Could anyone tell me what is a fair price if I were to buy from an AD? Just want to know a ballpark. Please send me a PM if posting prices is not allowed (wasn't sure)...Thanks!
Seamaster vs. Speedmaster for an everyday wearer ??
Good day all, I did a quick search, and this question never came up (that or I overlooked it lol). Anyway, in the recent future, I plan on adding another Omega to my stable. I already have the Seamaster 2531.80 bond watch, and absolutely love it. However, I don't want to put heavy wrist time on that watch, and want to buy another one for a daily beater. It would be on my wrist 23 hours of the day, 7 days a week. I work in the retail industry, so the watch will not be desk diving, but it won't be getting all beat to crap everyday of the week ether. I always go to the beach at least 5 times in the year, and love to swim (I NEVER dive). I guess that's about it. I LOVE the Planet Ocean 45.5mm 600M dive watch, but I also like the Speedmaster moon watch. Not so much because of the style of the watch (even though it too looks good) but becusae of the history behind it, the manual wind, non-sapphire Chrystal, etc. So, I don't know, for a daily watch that can handle it in the field everyday, wh
