Ulysse Nardin Diver Perpetual Limited Edition
Ulysse Nardin’s Diver Perpetual Limited Edition combines the best of 2 popular worlds: rugged, oversize dive watches and easy-to-set perpetual calendars. UN’s was the first perpetual that allowed all displays to be set forward or backward, including backward across midnight, using only the crown. UN’s large date places the numbers on the same level for a more aesthetically pleasing appearance. The Diver Perpetual LE combines these useful features in a 45mm titanium case that is polished so highly it can pass for stainless steel. The case is water resistant to 300 meters, and the display back lets you view the movement and its 22K white gold winding rotor. The Diver Perpetual LE is limited to 500 pieces, priced at $26,800.Click these images to enjoy larger versions. Technical specifications appear below.

Welcome back to an original watches-dealer feature, "My First Grail Watch." In this series, we ask prominent people in the watch industry about the first timepiece that they lusted after. Today, we're talking with Peter Speake-Marin, who started off as a restorer of antique watches, and today is the founder of his own watch brand. ?You'll definitely want to read on about his grail watch. ?Not only does it feature a minute repeater, split-second chronograph?and a tourbillon, it came into being in 1913 at the behest of none other than J.P. Morgan.watches-dealer (ABTW): Who are you, and what is your relationship to the watch industry?Peter Speake-Marin (PSM): My name is Peter Speake-Marin, I am an English watchmaker, working in Switzerland, I began my career as watchmaker 28 years ago. Corum Admiral's Cup Minute Repeater Tourbillon Watch
This is one of the most ambitious Corum watches in years. Limited to just a few pieces, this tour de force of watch complications and the base Admiral's Cup watch design will be released in the first half of next year. The totally new movement features a tourbillon as well as a minute repeater (interestingly activated by twisting the entire bezel). The watch features three sapphire crystals. One is smoked and placed as the watch dial through which you can view the movement. Read more about the Corum Admiral's Cup Minute Repeater Tourbillon watch in my article here at Haute Living. Incoming: My first Patek
Ever since I was a child, I have always been infatuated with watches. My mother and father are both collectors of sorts and it has definitely rubbed off on me. The sickness only has gotten worse since I purchased my first Rolex in 2005 and hasn't gotten any better since joining TRF last summer I have gone through many watches and brands since then. Including Audemars Piguet, IWC, Omega, Tudor, Panerai, etc...but for as long as I can remember I have always wanted a Patek. It has been a long, long, expensive journey full of mistakes and lots of lessons learned...Special thanks to Mr. David Farkas, aka PerpetualMan88 for making this possible. David and I go back while, this being our fourth transaction together and I can't say enough good things about our interactions. He has always taken the time to answer my stupid questions, texts, and concerns. He and I have been discussing a Patek for me for ages and he reached out when he found the perfect one. We talked about it and after some thou
