De Bethune DBS Digital: A Calendar Watch For The New Year
I finally decided that I wanted to write about a calendar watch for New Year's day, but I didn't know what watch to talk about. Calendar watches come in thousands of forms, and have been around practically since the time clocks have been around. There are a few highly complex calendar watches that actually do indicate the year, but none of those suited my tastes at this time. I finally decided on writing about one of the most elegant, "love it or hate it" calendar watches out there made by the boutique watch brand De Bethune. I really like the brand even though they put as much effort as is possible to keep their watches priced well outside the watch, or car buying budgets of the majority of people. The DBS digital ("digitale" if are speaking luxury pretentious) is an extremely basic looking watch from a functional standpoint, and that is the whole point. ceramic diver discontinued?
Hi all, was taking a look at the AP website, clicked on the diver and there are 2 watches, but no ceramic, white or black, was it never listed on their website in the first place, wonder why they would do that, or was it and now it's gone?If it's gone might give foundation to the rumor I read here and there that they were going to stop production, which sucks because I was getting to really like it and considering getting it one day, want at one point to have a ceramic piece and apart from the diver the only one I like, but less than the AP is the Pam 335, it's nice but nowhere near the finish of AP ceramic, it's matte ceramic without the vertical lines that AP has or brushed/polished parts. Also I am starting to like a few offshore models but am disappointed as I like them with ceramic bezel, again that ceramic obsession, and they only have them on 44mm models, I could go for a 42 but a 44 don't think so, I know members with smaller wrists than mine have 44's, but it's nice on them whe
New Omega Bezel (Really?..)
Omega describes their new bezel for the just released Globemaster as bezel with character..Somehow the bezel looks familiar Omega_Globemaster_03.jpg
Luminor in 38mm?!
Anyone else excited about the luminor being available in a 38mm? I've always liked Panerai but didn't think it would work on my 6.5 in wrists. Now maybe I have a chance !!
rolex tattoo
why dont Rolex insist that purchasers of new watches have to get the serial number of the watch tattooed somewhere discreet?this would stop people flipping them.
