Just bought a winder
I just bought a fully adjustable two watch winder by Wolf, the 2.7.It looks like my Omega Seamaster Professional Chronograph, 3 dials with date at the bottom with sword hands, smooth black face, mid-2000's is my guess. Looks just like an America's Cup with the insignia, will want bi-directional winding at 650 turns. Can anyone confirm this ? I think I found the right information on the Orbita data base, but I want to make sure-My Breitling Navitimer will go clockwise at 800-Thanks
Pam 424
Hello!I've been reading in internet that the new Pam 424 will not have date. The old model Pam 424 have date. Panerai decided not to change the model number, so still Pam 424. Question is, will be now the 424 with date, the watch that before many people was saying that looks not good because the date, a collectible Panerai watch?I'm just curious. Panerai is a brand that even the mistakes make the watches collectibles. Regards
Just when I thought I was done with Rolex, they pull me back in - Incoming SD43
It all began on a Thursday night last week. Decided to pop by the local grey dealer for a chat and coffee. Now, the SD43 was a piece never really on my radar. I had thought the SubC was at the maximum bounds of what my wrist could handle. And it was a piece that I had heard much controversy about, everything from it being a Fat Submariner to not being an actual SeaDweller with the cyclops. With all the supply shortages as well, it was also becoming a frustrating and tiresome exercise searching for pieces I wanted. And the anecdotes on this site didn't help, reading about year long waitlists even for the most basic Sub. At this grey dealer, they had just received an SD43 earlier in the day. I tried it on. The first thing that struck me was the proportions of this piece. With slimmer lugs relative to its case size, a wider bracelet, it felt a world apart from the DeepSea. It was noticeably less thick and heavy as well. But what really drew me to this piece was the matte dial, and the red

DAYDATE 18038 VS CURRENT MODELs
Hi,I'm looking forward to buy a pre-owned 18038 with custom leather strap. I searched online and did not find much info in terms of comparison. Can anyone let me know how both these models are different from each other and what precautions I'd need to take with this vintage watch if I end up buying it (in terms of water damage, scratches on face etc). Also any idea how much these watches cost in second hand market? Thanks for all your help.
