Baselworld Best: Timepieces To Watch In 2012
Leaving Baselworld each year is bitter sweet because I tend to have such a good time. I don't get to see even a third of what I would like to check out, and it is great to be among my friends and close colleagues for over a week. It is tiring however, and during final days you end up forgetting you are there for watches. I love it though, and am proud to be part of the world's biggest watch show. Next year I have decided I need to attend the show with a posse. Who is with me? I can promise there will be some nice watch fondling going on.So I keep getting asked what my impression of the 2012 show is/was, and what I liked the best. Always a tough question as I just admitted to not having seeing all there was to see. That might be unfair as I did check out the majority of the important stuff from the big brands we are all familiar with. Overall impressions? I think it is a mixed bag. Some brands are full steam ahead with lots of new product and distinct global directions, while other br
First Audemars!!!!!
Hello, I am a collector of Rolex, maniac with the brand, but the few days I had the opportunity to get an Audemars. The model in question was the RO ref 15400 with white dial.I Always questioned if the quality and the finish of the AP would be even higher than that of Rolex and today could prove in my hands.I can't stop looking and admire the brightness and the finish of the watch, bracelet is a piece of art.Another detail is the difficulty in getting a good picture of the watch due to its brightness. Some picsOne Hug to all Rolex Friends!!!!!!
Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar 41mm
Not sure if anyone posted this watch yet, but i just saw it in the boutique and its amazing in the metal.Usually I prefer AP blue dials but in this reference i love how the silver/white dial makes the moon phase stand out.please enjoy the pictures. Ref# 26574OR.OO.1220OR.01wrist shot

First Patek - 5726A 5712A or 5711
Need advice from Patek aficionados:So I am in the market for two new watches. Flipping some useless Jewelry into exemplary horological pieces. Currently my budget allows:The first watch is the AP 26320ST blue dialThe second watch will most likely be a Patek. I am debating between the 5726A or the 5712A blue dial. I also like the 5711 well for its simplicity. A little information about myself, I am 6'2, 220lbs, Asian who work as an investor/entrepreneur/community organiser. So the time for a really beautiful dress watch has yet to come. __________________________________________________ _________________________________Current collection:Rolex GMT 16170 Coke dial Rolex 116519 WG Daytona black dial on black leather strap Rolex TT YM2Rolex DSSD D-blue
