Daniel Strom "Agonium" Memento Mori, Carpe Diem Watch: Most Expensive Goth Garb Ever?
This watch looks like Big Ben from a nightmare. What looks like a Halloween holiday watch is actually the newest luxury timepieces from Daniel Strom, son of watch maker Armin Strom. I am sure that daddy is really keen on Daniel's new dark art. Perhaps, it followed these events:? first he dyed his hair black, then painted his nails black. Soon he was wearing Nine Inch Nail's t-shirts and shunning the sunlight. But things got really weird when he craved blood (but soon abandoned that idea after tasting the stuff), and decided to follow in his father's footsteps in the "dark arts of watch making." So imagine this high-end result. What you have here is probably the world's most expensive goth watch accessory. Troubled teenage girls and boys can now have a new object of their affection as opposed to that cool coffin-style twin size bed they have been eying. The watch is named the Agonium "Memento Mori, Carpe Diem!" Which translates into the uplifting statement "remember you will die, so seiz
My first AP ROO 44mm Carbon or SS?
I cannot decide which i like more. I know this question is highly subjective, but I thought I would ask and get some TRF opinions. Pic for reference:
IN NEED OF OPINIONS -- which is better, 5726A + BNIB 5167A or BNIB 5980/1A blue?
Doubts, doubts....but at least here I can find some good answers My collection started with three Nautiluses : 5711/1A blue, 5276A grey and 5980/1A blue. Due to my preference of sport watches, I thought it would be a natural start for PP brand. Then I added the 5070R, wanting some more dressy choices.Last year, I decided to trade the 5980/1A towards the 5960P . I thought that would be easier to get another 5980/1A later on.Given the 5960P is both Chrono and AC, since I bought it, many doubts have arisen about having 5980/1A and 5726A.But soon after, both 5980/1A and 5960P were discontinued by Patek. I have now ordered a BNIB 5167A, planned to arrive in few weeks, but just found an offer that is bugging me. It has been offered me a BNIB blue 5980/1A , and on a direct trade on my 5726A ( bought DEC2012) plus the 5167A equivalent proceedings. Now, my question for you, gentlemen, is : which would be your preference on this? Given my collection now, and the fact of discontinuation
Cutting rubber strap?
Hello all, taking delivery of my first Patek (5167r) this next week. I planned on getting it in person but I'm having it shipped instead. Has anyone sized the strap themselves? If so, what tools do I need? I removed the links from my AP bracelet so I'm not afraid of taking on the challenge! Thanks in advance.
663 and 233 shots
Hi, a couple of years ago I got a 233, bought various straps since then. Last month I bought a 663 - different strap size obviously, and I just got my first 26mm strap and took some photos - and thought I would share.
