TechnoMarine Watches Back On The Block
The build up was intense. Months of teasers and speculation to see what new CEO of TechnoMarine Vincent Perriard would do to the brand that desperately needed a refresh. At the same time, Perriard only had a few months because he was new to the brand - fresh out of his seat at Concord. His task was to release new watches for Baselworld 2010 to be interesting enough for people to notice the brand again. Not an easy task, especially given the molasses like pace of the watch industry. The middle of March was the proving ground - would the new collection have enough appeal to convince enough people the brand was? worth paying attention to again. In the 1990s TechnoMarine was a big deal because it was another "mold breaking" brand. ROO Rubber Clad

5712r or 5711
Hi guys,So I recently went in to my local AD and went on the 2 year waiting list for a 5711. I've been thinking in the meantime about picking up another piece. However, I've recently started to wonder if i should pick up another and get the 5711 or instead just get the 5712r instead. Obviously both different watches, but I'm thinking along the lines of the rarity and demand of the 5711 makes it special, whereas the 5712r in the rose gold and the complication makes it special. I'm new to the Patek brand so I'm looking for an opinion from the horses mouth so to speak. What do you guys think? Both I think can be worn daily and on numerous occasions. is it worth the extra and get the 5712r or waiting and joining the 5711 club with another piece in my collection? Thanks guys!!!!!!
