Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Watch for Singapore's Raffles Hotel
Of all of the world's many thousands of hotels, very few ever become an icon for the city or country in which they are based. Consider Haiti's Hotel Oloffson, Dubai's Burj Khalifa (as seen in MI4: Ghost Protocol) or the Bellagio Hotel of Las Vegas. These are hotels that have become international set pieces and back drops that make up part of the visual mindscape that many people have for locations that they may have never visited. Some hotels are so longstanding that they can become a pillar for global tourism in their area. Singapore's premiere example of this is the Raffles Hotel, which will soon be celebrating its 125th anniversary and will mark the occasion with a series of specially engraved Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso watches. The Reverso has been around for over 80 years and is an excellent choice as the symbol to commemorate the 125th year of the world famous Raffles Hotel. Established in 1887 and named after Singapore's founder, Sir Stamford Raffles, the Raffles Hotel has weathere

15202 owners, how do you keep them clean?
Wondering if any fellow Jumbo owners can share what you do to keep your watch sparkly new.I typically take my pieces with me in the shower on my wrist, use a little bit of soap, rinse thoroughly and wipe off with a microfiber towel. Done it for all the pieces I've owned through history. With the 15202, I'm thinking I need to find another way to clean it. Without a screw down crown, and low-ish water resistance, I'm reluctant to put it underneath running water (heck, even when I'm washing my hands I'm cautious to not get the watch near the stream of water.)
How to determine a good price?
Hi guys,My question is, how do you go about determining a good price for a pre owned watch? I know to look at current offerings but they range considerably. I am mainly looking for the Submariner 116619. I have seen offerings ranging from $21,500 - $30,000. How big of a role does year of manufacture play? All the listings that I have seen have been complete with box and papers. Naturally I want to get the newest watch for the lowest price. I just don't know how much of a premium it is worth for a watch that is a few years newer?
Steel Daytona
Does anyone know what the actual waiting list size is for the steel Daytona ?
