Small, Transparent and In Disguise; Meistersinger at Baselworld 2016
When it comes to one-handed watches, Meistersinger is the first brand that should come to mind. Their line of watches over the years has grown to refine what a one-handed watch is, offering varieties of utter simplicity, up to ones with surprising uses of complications, such as jump hours and mono-pusher chronographs. This year at Basel, they tuned some of their existing lines, changing a typeface here and there, adding a color, a new strap option, etc as well as added some items that are completely new.Little watch, Big impactThe first new introduction from Meistersinger is their smallest to date. Called the Phanero, from the Greek "phaners" meaning visible, the manual wound watch measures 35mm with a height of 7.5mm. The case is a different style for the brand, and was a highlight of the watch. From above, it's all dial, with straight kinked lugs that bring to mind Bauhaus classics like the Stowa Antea or Nomos Tangente. From the side (and I apologize that we didn't get a good shot
26320ST (white). Should I bother changing the bracelet?
Guys...I need some input on the 26320.For reference again here it is on the stock stainless bracelet:I am contemplating whether or not to swap out the bracelet for a leather / nylon / rubber strap on a deployment claspto do so I will need these:apbands/shop/merchant.mvc...de=APB-RO-CONVHere are 2 of the straps that I like:My favorite so farThis 1 is nice too, the white stitching matches the white dialgunmetal color PVD deployment claspShould I even bother changing it? What color do you believe looks best? Currently I prefer the black strap with red stitching because it adds more color but I am also afraid I will regret doing this because I could be changing the character of the watch too much. Thoughts?? Should I even changing it at all or leave it stock?edit: I am leaning towards a black strap with white stitching to match the dial.

No more Arabic number lume on Aquanaut 5167/A?? Please post your lume pics!
Hey guys,I'm on the fast track at acquiring my grail watch....the 5167/A. However, a local AD who hasn't had any inventory since the middle of 2012 indicated to me that newly produced 5167/A (after mid-year 2012) are NOT carrying Arabic number lume???Is this correct??One amazing characteristic of this watch that I truly appreciate is the AMAZING lume, far superior than any Rolex/Tudor I have owned.Could you guys post some lume shots of your 5167/A for me?? Thanks for your help on this issue, if it is true, I'm gonna have to track down an older 5167/A.Regards, David
