Watch Insider Reviews the Breitling for Bentley 6.75 Midnight Carbon
The?Breitling for Bentley 6.75 Midnight Carbo is a deep black, ticking tribute to the biggest Bentley engine, the famous 6.75-liter version that powers Bentley’s Mulsanne limousines. In this article from my blog, Watch-Insider, I reveal photos and technical details directly from the brand.?This new version of the Bentley 6.75 chronograph watch, according to Breitling’s press release, “ramps up the power and the audacity in an entirely black-clad limited series… This midnight-hued livery, achieved by a special ultra-resistant carbon-based treatment [DLC], enhances the sporting style of the satin-brushed steel case with its taut, dynamic lines and its knurled bezel inspired by Bentley's famous radiator grilles.“The dial also exudes dark elegance, enhanced by a vertical open worked motif offering a glimpse of the movement. Anyone regret getting sub vs. sub date or vice versa?
I've found myself in the position of deciding between a sub and a sub date like so many others have discussed in previous posts. I'm curious about getting a more nuanced perspective on the decision compared to what I've seen before though. Anyone regret making the decision to go with the sub or sub date after some time? What were your thoughts as you decided that the other option may have been better? I know that after the thrill of a new watch settles in and you get used to it you start noticing characteristics that weren't readily apparent. For me I was always set on the sub without a date, until I tried on a sub date. That then had me thinking that the sub looked a bit plain and incomplete. I wear my pieces for myself, but a guilty part of me also wanted my watch to be more recognizable, and the cyclops certain helps with that. On the other hand the sub without the cyclops is super clean, symmetrical, and I wonder how much of a pain it will be to have to deal with part of the dial b
Two lines are just about right
At least I think so:These are Jacek's pix of a watch I bought from him a while ago. My lack of photographic skills are well documented here.
