Gucci Launches New Watch for 2013 Grammy Awards
The 55th Annual Grammy Awards will take place this weekend in Los Angeles, and for the third year in a row, Gucci Timepieces & Jewelry will release a new, Grammy-branded wristwatch to coincide with the music industry’s biggest night.  In 2010, Gucci launched its Grammy Special Edition watch collection as part of a three-year partnership with The Recording Academy, organizers of the Grammys. The latest edition to the collection is a timepiece whose design offers a variation on Gucci’s interlocking “Double G” motif, which is incorporated into the bezel. There are two models, each with stainless-steel cases that measure 42 mm in diameter. One has a sun-brushed finish and a black dial; the other has a black PVD finish and a dark yellow dial. The minimalist dials �� with the ��Gucci' logo at 12 o’clock �� are enlivened by circular-grained surfaces that recall the grooves on a vinyl record. I am at a loss for words, usually that's never the case but today's fedex delivery left me speechless. I was in Montego Bay last week on a family vacation which happens to be the location of my AD, Jewels In Paradise and my man Dee Doshi who I made sure signed up on TRF, he's Watchguy18 and happened to mention I loved the AP Golf Bag they had on display and Lo & Behold this arrived today..... This was a 5164 Aquanaut Travel Time. Also saw a 5712 blue dial. Awesome!

5205r - black or white?
Patek Fans,I have twice within a week gone to Tiffanys in NYC to arm test the 5205 models. They have all four models (rose and white gold). No question for me it will be one of the rose gold models. Both times I have gone in with the black as a clear favorite. It is simply stunning - but the white also pops much more than I expected. Both times I have left with the black as a 51-49% marginal favorite.This will be a very close call. Which one would you pick? Thanks for your input.
