My Titanium SMP 300M Chrono Diver
Back in March 7th of this year, I traded in my used (6 months old) titanium SMP 300M Chronometer [2231.50] black waved dial for a new titanium SMP 300M Chronograph black dial with sword hands [2293.52] at Tourneau, NV.Here is a quick comparison: SMP 300M [2231.50] - bullet-proof movement (1120)- low profile thickness- extremely light and very comfortable to wear- perfect weight proportion of case & bracelet- +4 seconds advancement daily- tends to scratches easily SMP 300M Chrono [2293.52] - complicated movement (3301)- case is slightly thicker- still quite light compared to SS model and also very comfortable to wear- great weight proportion of case & bracelet (slightly wider)- +1 second advancement daily- great scratch resistanceWell, after a 24/7 wear period of over two months, the inevitable had occurred. What about 5204p ?
Hi everyoneI have quiet good pieces in my collection like 5164a, 5990a, 5980/1r, 5711/1p, 5524g, 5131r, 6102p and I have been keeping an eye on 5204p(black dial) for a while. I didn't any of it around and also did not see any topics about it here. I would like to know about what you think of it ? Does it make sense compared to 5270 ? is it really that limited produced since it is split second ? Do you believe it has a future value ?Any comments and suggestions related to it is welcome. Battery change In NYC
Can someone recommend a watchmaker that can do a battery change on a patek twenty 4?
The Sub of Pams
Finally after a year of going back and forth I think I want to make the jump over to a Paneria for my weekend work (I wear an 114060, do wedding films, dress nice and with style (custom shirts, shoes ect) not like the guys you see in black pants and black polo shirts). In any case, the Sub is a can't miss watch if your looking for your first Rolex, well I am looking for a can't miss Paneria for the purist. Would like to stay under $5000, was thinking maybe 00609, I am going to purchase new from watchmaxx as they seem to offer the best discounts for something brand new. I do like the look of Sandwich dials over painted. Ideas?steve
