HourTime Show Watch Podcast Episode 149: Inside Rolex
After two days inside Rolex (see today's article, "10 Things To Know About How Rolex Makes Watches"), we have no choice but to share our experience with you. Rolex doesn't allow photography so we tried to express the tale from within using our own words. John, unfortunately, was not there, but I am joined by Rolex historian and expert Jake Ehrlich from Rolexmagazinewatches-dealer who was. If you are interested in Rolex in any way this is a must listen.Listen to the HourTime Show watch podcast episode 149 here. Download the mp3.
Speedmaster Mark II Buyer's Remorse
Dear friends, just bought today a beautiful like new condition late 70's Speedmaster Mark II Gold Plated with burgundy Tachy Bezel. The speedy has minimal signs of wear, box and papers included. Paid $2,000 USD.I need your support, what do you think ?Firstly i fall in love with the idea of owning such a rare mark II, later fall for the bezel. But now im seeing the tone of the gold plated very 70'ish its bright yellow ! 👴👵God bless, thank you ! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
omega authenticity on red box question
What should an authentic red omega box look like? Should the Omega logo on the top be stuck on the or recessed in. It has the seamaster 2220.80 in the box. I have seen both but just curious if anyone can confirm
Rolex owners q for you...what to do on AP RO
So my wife and i were shopping yesterday and she apparently secured herself a nice bag, Birkin. In her happiness, we walked into the AP store. I tried on 3 Royal oaks 2 of them were 15400, and one was a 24xxx with complications. I liked the silver dial 15400. This in not the ultra thin one. She had said I could buy the aP RO 15400 or wait for the daytona c and pepsiQ for you guys...1) would you guys buy the RO2) any views on it holding value?3) do you own and why have you chosen AP.I was also at some point hoping for a nautilus 5711
Used or AD
My question is:Let's say hypothetically you had 15k to spend on a watch. Would you buy a used watch or go to an AD? Would you buy the 118238 DD or a new SUB ? I mean I have never been to an AD and may be taking a trip there tomorrow. What can you get from an AD for 15k?Thank you in advanceJohn
