New SS and RG ROO
How do you guys like the new SS and RG ROO's? I find them awesome, I think I am gonna get one of them, not sure which one but they are really hot, I think the RG is my favorite but the SS with the grey dial is really cool, anyways they won't be out for at least 6-8 months, but one thing is sure, I am getting one of them, is the RG will probably sell my 5167R as I don't want 2 RG's, but in SS that's fine won't sell anything.Anyone planning on getting one?
Which is the Purists Navitimer?
Hey guys,I'm looking to complete what I call my basic necessities collection, which currently includes a Submariner 14060, a Speedmaster 3570.50 and a PAM 000. Obviously the missing piece is a Breitling Navitimer.Looking around I see this AOPA Anniversary model popping up quite a bit. It looks like it's very similar in appearance to the original Navi, with black sub dials and the AOPA logo on the dial. But the fact that it's so easy to find, and oftentimes NIB, kind of makes me wonder what's wrong with it. Is this an unloved model for some reason?Considering what I currently have, which Navi fits the bill? There are many. Is the A23322 the purist's choice, or is the newer 01, or is the AOPA Anniv model a good fit? Then again, they also make the Heritage model...I know that they are all great watches with great movements. I'm just looking for insight from you guys regarding which would fit best into my little collection of basics. Thanks in advance!
I kinda like this 3594.50
I know my heart tells me that I should go for the tried and true 3570.50, but there's something about this one I really like. What do you guys think?.bernardwatch/watch/OMG1953ImageUploadedByTapatalk1347804680.066681.jpgOmega : Speedmaster '1957 ReEdition'Reference: 3594.50
Pp 5712 rg
I saw another thread on the 5980/1R-001, and that got me thinking. I love the 5712 and I love the RG bracelet (I am not all that fond of the chrono Nautilus because I think the balance of the watch is lost because of the pushers). Wouldn't the combination of those two just be the best combo ever? I tried out my Photoshop skills, and besides the different shades of gold it looks quite good. I just thought I would share this. I sincerely hope PP decides to make this model. Enjoy
Bracelet sizing.
I bought my ExpII about a month ago and had to have a link taken out before I left the store. It seemed ok as far as fit at the time, but now it feels a little to tight. It has the expansion link but that makes it too big. So I had the AD adjust it with the micro adjust and it's still too much and if I add the original link back in and move the micro adjust all the way forward it's also too large. So My question is, does Rolex make something like a half link? This would make it about perfect and also allow for some summer wrist swelling. Thanks.
