Introducing: The Jaeger-LeCoultre Tribute Reverso Duo
Today has been an incredible day of seeing the best of what is new at SIHH 2016. One watch that sticks in my mind is the Jaeger-LeCoultre Tribute Duo Face. As you may know this year is the 85th anniversary of the Reverso watch and Jaeger is pushing it in a big way. They have re-vamped many different versions of the classic design and are working with new partners (including Christian Louboutin, but more on that later) to create innovative, elegant and fresh designs, and for me that is this watch. 1 OF 2 The Tribute line is part of the, you guessed it, tribute to the 85th anniversary of the Reverso. This particular model, the Tribute Duo, is an elegant interpretation of the old classic. The stainless-steel rectangular wristwatch measures 42.8 mm by 25.5 mm. Seamaster bracelet needs servicing...advice..
I have a seamaster speedy style' bracelet from a 2254 which needs servicing. The clasp is hard to close/open & one pusher is also very soft to press.I would also like to have all the pins changed/checked in it for peace of mind. I would like Omega to do the work for meThe problem is that I am located on a small island with only one Omega AD (whose tech staff I don't really trust for reasons beyond this post). Could I send the bracelet directly to Omega Switzerland and what would you think would be an approximate cost ? Thanks for any advice !
I am done!
I have worked hard for this moment and I have to say that I am now done with buying watches. This is it!!!!!
Radiomir Firenze Acciaio Florence Boutique Edition
Traditionally I've always been a Luminor type of guy.Maybe its just the small child deep down somewhere inside of me but whatever it is I just love the interaction with the pull down lever and the oversized cog wheel winder every couple of days - oh, and it looks freakin' awesome too - bonus!Never really bothered with Radiomir's much, pretty much because of the reason above, just thought of them as sort of 'ok, but not for me thanks' kind of thing. That opinion changed quite dramatically recently when I stumbled across an internet pic of the Radiomir Firenze Acciaio PAM00672 - WOW! What an absolute beauty!!!Unfortunately, I have to accept that this piece will never sit in my humble watch box as its limited to 99 pieces and only available through the Florence boutique, the spiritual home of Panerai. The case work is hand engraved, so each one of the 99 pieces will be totally unique. The P3000 hand wound movement has been completely reworked and embellished with ornate designs to compliment
