A Patek dilemma
I've been an active member of this great forum for quite some time now, but this is the first topic I've opened about a non-Rolex watch. I'm sorry about the very long post.I've gone through numerous watch brands and several sub-$5000 watches in the past few years. My modest collection currently includes a Breitling Colt II Quartz (the beater), a SS Sub-C LN (the everyday wear), an Omega Speedmaster MoonWatch from 1969 (the vintage watch), and last but certainly not least an AP Royal Oak 15300ST (the one for special occasions). I want to extend my collection slowly, by only getting one watch per year. I'm also determined to get only one watch per each brand I find interesting, and make sure not to add multiple similar watches to my collection. I also don't want to trade in any of my current watches to fund a next purchase, so one can consider all my current watches keepers. As you can see, my collection so far is geared towards sporty models. That is because despite being in my 30'

Christmas Shopping Done! Mrs gets a Rolex. Also plenty of dealer stock, list inside.
Stopped by my local AD this morning to get my wife's earrings repaired. I always browse when I can, and I have been on hunt for a watch for my wife. She has finally jumped on the Rolex bandwagon after much work. She fancied the smaller 26mm size, which has been fairly elusive if not impossible to source. She requested a 26mm TT with silver face and roman numeral dial. Been looking for about a year, the grey dealers weren't able to locate one. I was afraid my next option would be eBay, but was a bit apprehensive. However today, when browsing the AD had a 26mm TT silver face with roman numerals in the case that was just put out this week. It's pre-owned but never sized. They have also ran it through for a complete tune up with their in-house rolex watchmaker. Price was right so I grabbed it. Christmas shopping done! Will have pics on the 25th. Also they have plenty of stock for the mens. just on the top of my head. 2 Rolex Deep Sea (D-Blue, Black)1 Rolex Seadweller 2-3 Rolex Submariner1
