Jaeger-LeCoultre announced today they will produce the Master Compressor Diving Alarm Navy SEALs Incursion Edition. Limited to 19 pieces in black gold and 62 pieces in titanium grey PVD, this series will only be available for sale at the Jaeger-LeCoultre Beverly Hills Boutique. The JLC Beverly Hills Boutique Connoisseurs Club had direct input with the Manufacture in creating these pieces. These series represent the first use of black gold and grey PVD titanium in Jaeger-LeCoultre timepieces. The 44mm case houses JLC Caliber 956. Custom accessories include 2 special straps with each watch. The black leather cordura strap will have matching accent colors in the stitching and alcantara strap backing. The second strap will be a black cordura made of especially rugged material suited to diving. JLC will host special delivery events for buyers. Complete technical specifications appear below. Vintage Omega Case Tubes
How is a vintage case tube held in place? is it press fit or held with an adhesive?I have ordered all the new parts for the watch pictured in my avatar, but the case tube is not threaded like a Rolex one.(new case tube, crown, dial, hands, strap, gaskets..)
Three Yr warranty from Tournau
Purchased last week NIB Pam 104. For $500 I can purchase their extended warranty that included new straps if damaged, sweat marks etc., cosmetic scratches, dings, etc., and also a full servicing that alone costs over $500. Now I know most say pass on these but I plan on keeping it and can be rough on the watch so with all the inclusions should, in your opinion, spend the $500? Also consider I got 20% of the list price and it's a 2105 production with warrens card, box, papers, etc. what are your thoughts especially since that alligator strap is over $400 alone? Thanks in advance for your replies.
Polishing your 18K gold watch...
Sorry, I tried to find a generic forum to post this in, but apparently our general discussion isn't for watch related chat.. So being that I have a new 18K Rolex, and many of you likely also have one, or a TT.. I though maybe I'd get your thoughts on this product that I've used in the past for taking small micro scratches off other gold jewelry, but never a watch (yet).. it's not meant to remove deeper scratches or substitute for a proper refinish.. The yellow is a bit more abrasive but still more or less leaves a mirror finish, and the blue even more so... Anyone have experience with these or recommend something even better to get rid of those OCD induced micro scratches?.sunshinepolishingclothI know, I know.. enjoy the wear and tare and let the watch get an individual identity, etc... but frankly, at least right now, I enjoy the mirror finish too much to watch it slowly turn into a swirly mess... much like when you buy a new car and that paint is swirl free, mirror like etc..PS
