Piaget Emperador Coussin XL Ultra-Thin Minute Repeater Watch
For SIHH 2013,?Piaget will once again break a record when it comes to being thin with the Emperador Coussin XL Ultra Thin Minute Repeater. No we are not talking about anything related to "The Biggest Loser," but rather a new movement which is the thinnest of its kind. Traditionally, Piaget has been known for making very thin mechanical movements. A few years ago they revisited this pursuit and started to produce movements of various types and complications that are the thinnest of their kind.If you look back in watches-dealer archives you'll find a number of these watches. A few will probably be listed below under "Related Posts." Usually when Piaget has something slim to brag about they put an "Ultra Thin" title in the name of the piece. For 2013, Piaget has upped the ante even more by producing the world's thinnest minute repeater movement in the caliber 1290P. It also happens to be an automatic. Introducing: The New Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 43.5mm Auto
Omega has released a new addition to the Seamaster Ocean Planet Collection �C the new 43.5 mm Auto. This brightly colored watch features the chronometer caliber 8900 with METAS certification. 1 OF 1 This Seamaster Planet Ocean 43.5 mm chronometer is made of titanium and is water resistant to 600 m (2,000 ft) and features the caliber 8900 movement with METAS certification (if you didn't notice all the new Planet Ocean Collections are receiving the new METAS Certification). The most interesting part about this colorful watch are the materials used. The 43.5 mm watch itself is made of titanium with gray silicon nitride rubber bezel insert with Omega LiquidMetal for the orange minute-scale. It is also available in stainless steel with black ceramic and rubber bezel.  The watch is fitted with a metal bracelet or leather strap with rubber lining. Price is CHF 5,700. Hi Breitling fans I recently acquired a vintage 806 Navitimer on a NATO and was looking for a good strap for the watch. Do any of you have any good recommendations? Any pics to show would be appreciated
