Ulysse Nardin El Toro Watch
Struck by the Moonstruck? Ulysse Nardin Moonstruck watch that is. I don't even know if I have published my article on the Moonstruck watch yet. I am shamelessly behind on publishing articles. I will get to the Moonstruck watch soon even though that is a model from last year. The El Toro is sort of a follow up model. It uses the same case and dimensions. Though the dial and complications are all different. Ulysse Nardin has created a pretty cool luxury watch here. It feels modern by not too strange. Very characteristic of the brand, though still novel. The El Toro watch features a GMT hand as well as a perpetual calendar - with w two digit year indicator. Comes in an gold or platinum case. For more information, prices, and my assessment of this piece, read my full article about the Ulysse Nardin El Toro watch at Haute Living here. Follow A. Lange & Sohne At SIHH In Real Time
Today I am at SIHH here in Geneva. But most of you are not. Too badAs part of luxury watch brands further embracing the Internet, they are welcoming modern times by live blogging at the event. Finally, the Internet is their friends. How far we have come in just a few years. In addition to other brands such as Jaeger-LeCoultre, my favorite German luxury watch brand A. Lange & Sohne (the grail watch for many) will live blogging from SIHH 2010. To be honest I am not 100% sure what this will entail, but it believe it means sharing what is going on including images and new releases with you all out there. What I do know is that A. Lange & Sohne people will be there live to answer your questions and help you with whatever you need. You'll probably need to be up late at night if you are in the US for this personal attention from their staff. Otherwise I am sure there will be good stuff up for you to check out. In addition to their live blogging at the event (at the address in the link
Request: Before and After Polishing Pics
Does anyone have any pics of their PP before and after it was polished? I've been offered a 2009 Nautilus that was a daily watch, and as you can imagine the bracelet is fairly scuffed up, but the crystal has no scratched. Prior to picking making a decision I wanted to find out if sent to PP for a full service what I can expect in terms of results. Thanks.
233 Dome Crystal - Ruud Van Egg-on-Face
Ok, let's get this over with. I have to confess that I got this one horribly, horribly wrong. I could've sworn the 233 I was admiring a couple of weeks back had a normal crystal. My guy at OP has just confirmed the 233 still has the domed crystal. I'm now off to go find a huge towel to wipe the egg off my face. My apologies guys. See attached pics of an S Serial 233 (I've edited out the number), which my man has just sent me.
40mm Polar Explorer 10 year Service or Not??? Need advice......
Hi Guys!!! Just got a text back from AD saying the service starts at $700 and takes around 6 weeks. The thing is the watch is keeping time perfect, 1s in 64 hr as per right now, that's great IMO.....I got the watch 20/Feb/2008..........So the question is do I service the watch or not????I'm considering not, maybe have to send it....I've heard you have to service it while it works good and keeps time. Any suggestions????Here a Pic:Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
