March LA.B AM3 Review
Based is LA and Biarritz, France, March LA.B has set out to create watches that mix the ambiance and style of 60's and 70's luxury with contemporary manufacturing and remarkable detailing. A quick look at their instagram will give you a better sense of this, as they mix photos of their watches with classic cars, a still from a Bond flick (Connery era, of course) and the odd Helmut Newton photograph. While brands often attempt to associate themselves with iconic imagery to bask in the style of others, March LA.B's watches are the first I've seen that actually achieve it. Quietly, they mix form, finishing, color and material to create pieces that are dark, handsome and stylish. Often, the watches we discuss on worn&wound can be categorized as rugged, slick, classic, aggressive, masculine, etc While many of those terms still apply, the March LA.B AM3 adds a word we don't often use: glamorous. While authentic style gets you a long way, design, finishing and value complete a quality watc
Introducing: The MB&F Arachnophobia, A Clock That Will Give 3.5 To 6.1 Percent Of You The Major
MB&F is nothing if not iconoclastic in its approach to everything fromwell, to everything, and this time they've come up with a clock that is guaranteed to not be bought by a sizeable fraction of the general population (that's right, adjusted for where you live, 3.1 to 6.5 percent of the general population suffers from flat out arachnophobia – irrational fear of spiders – and while a lot of the rest of us don't, we still prefer as a rule to keep our distance). It's the Arachnophobia, which is – well, there's no way to sugarcoat it, this is a clock in the shape of a giant spider. A giant spider with long, spiky legs. A clock, we repeat, in the shape of a monstrous arachnid that bears more than a little resemblance to the final form of the Other Mother in Coraline. (Seriously, though, don't click on the link if you don't like monstrous demonic soul-eaters in the shape of spiders. Did you click on the link? Now see, that's why we told
Cuff links Gift - finally I receive it
This morning I find out there is a Fedex box in my front door. I can't believe it that Fedex just leaves the box without ring my door bell and asks for my signature. As I said before , I do not worry my AD does not send me a gift. I always get it at the end. I already wait for many months for the cuff links before I receive it. Comes to Patek, Everything has to wait and wait. Without a patience, Patek is not a game for you.Anyway, Let's view my cuff links gift that special made for 5088P owner. 6S.jpg7S.jpg8S.jpg2s.jpg
5711p vs 5711a
For those that have or have owned both, is the 5711p that much better than the 5711a? Is it worth the 4x price? Would you do it again?
Choices Choices Choices!?!?!?
Looking at my first Rolex purchase for the 30th bday and have it narrowed down to 3. - Pre-Owned 16610 Sub, complete kit, 2006 model- 6200- Pre-Owned gmt master 116710, complete kit- 7200- new SubC no date from AD- 7500 No tax on any of these since out of state. 7500 is tip of the budget. Any advice is appreciated!
