Size matters help- ROO
Not unlike many on here I have a smaller wrist and trying to figure out if the ROO would be too large for my wrist. I wear suits at work so I think it best that I try one on before I buy. Thanks to David for the suggestion. As I live in southeastern VA there are no AD's around. Are there any forum members that live close that I could try one on or get comments from? Not trying to be presumptuous just looking for a little help. Thanks
Has anyone tried this deployant band combo?
May not be replica but rather generic buckle with Omega stamped on it. Looks like a great deal but would like to ask if anyone here has tried this:Watch Strap Genuine Leather 20 mm Omega Black
Looking for AT Info
Looking for some info on the Omega Aqua Terra. I'm interested in the (early) 2500 model, 38.5mm, black dial. Looking at the smooth dial. What would the model number be? I noticed that quartz models do not have the saphire back.Does the white dial version have black hands(and what is the white dial model number)? Wondering about the contrast for that model (old eyes!). thanks!Greg
Pre-owned BLNR from AD
Hey everyone, I went to the AD who helped me out with fake tt sub I bought on ebay. I told them I would like to buy a new watch from them, a BLNR. None in stock, but they had an excellent condition BLNR from 2014 for 8k. I was tempted but decided to go on the wait list. She told me it should be maybe a couple months. I was good with that but thought about turning around a few times on my way home, lol. Not many BLNRs out there, but I would love a brand new one for msrp, even if I have to wait a bit. What would you have done?
First world problem complaining about BLNR
I've owned the watch for 2.5 years now and enjoy it for the most part. Just wanted to share some weak points that prospective buyers might not be aware of as, imho, the watch is held to a higher standard here than it deserves:- Lug edges are pointy and sharp, feel unfinished- Chamfers on top of lugs are almost non-existent. I always liked shiny chamfers on my Rolex- Brushing of mid-case on top of lugs is straight, no longer brushed diagonally toward the midlinks - Quite frequently, the crown gets stuck in 2nd position when trying to pull out to 3rd position/hacking the movement. This has been widely discussed on this forum. It has not 'loosened' up over time so far. Usually winding it a few more times helps. Will have this addressed when it's going in for service in a few years.- Lume is fairly weak, only bothers me when I'm flying overnight and the lights are off in the cabin- In addition to the above, the GMT arrow is extremely hard to find when it's dark. It virtually disappears whe
