Inside The Manufacture: A Visit To Audemars Piguet In Le Brassus
Audemars Piguet occupies a very interesting place in the pantheon of modern watchmakers. It is truly independent, with two members of the Audemars family still playing an active role in the manufacture's development. It balances watchmaking of the very highest order – think tourbillons, advanced escapements, and grand complications – with watches immediately recognizable to the average person on the street. And it has remained entrenched on home soil in the small village of Le Brassus, situated right in the heart of the Vallée de Joux. A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of visiting Audemars Piguet's storied home and it's a pleasure to share my journey with you here. 2 OF 57 There are two main facilities in Le Brassus, one housed in the original manufacture from 1875 and the other a more recent addition from 2008. The former houses the restoration department, the museum, the Audemars Piguet archives, and a dedicated tourbillon workshop, while
AP Online warranty extension
Hi! Just wanted to make anyone who wasn't aware you can now extend the warranty of your AP online now on their website. I wasn't aware of this until my AD told me the other day and also new watches now come with 5 years warranty (providing you extend the warranty online).I managed to extend mine even though I bought it preowned on eBay, you can also register the watch under your AP user account which I think is pretty neat.
Omega 2594.52 or Rolex Sub

So, finally, I'm in the waitlist for a Hulk..
Today, after 5 years collecting watches, more than 20 pieces of different brands and 3 different Rolex watches, I've finally putted myself in the waitlist for my grail: Rolex Submariner 116610LV, The hulk!I have to say that I'm quite excited, even when this same happened to me since I've bought my first luxury piece, an Omega SMPc, or when I've got my first submariner, the iconic 16610. But this time feels different, I'm going for my grail, the first one I saw back in 2012 and became my dream watch. The truth is, last year, I've found myself with more watches that I had the chance to wear, so decided to consolidate my collection in no more than 5 pieces plus a G shock, and that's exactly what I did. I currently have a Rolex GMTc LN, a Rolex Explorer I mk2, an Omega SMPc, Omega Speedy FOIS and a Breitling Navitimer A23322 blue dial, all pieces that I love and wear quite often but someting was missing, specially around my GMT which has been sat in the box since I acquired the explorer, a
