My Latest Speedy Mod!
This is my third Speedy project and I couldn't be more excited with how it turned out. The previous three never connected with me. I just never know how these are going to turn out. So many people love so many different things about timepieces. Well one thing I love if my wide assortment of 20mm straps.I purchased the Speedmaster First Omega in Space and believe it to be the nicest Speedy edition example out there. But at 19mm I simply couldn't keep it. And 20mm straps don't fit--not properly anyways. So that said--here she is. Enjoy. 3573 Chocolate Sapphire SandwichHands and dial from OfreiIdea from Omega FOISImageUploadedByTapatalk1415462677.617664.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1415462688.650897.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1415462700.985205.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1415462715.536430.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1415462727.838569.jpg
Any pic of a cyclopesless 126600?
Hi everyone, we're approaching Basel 2018 and... I have not seen any pic of a 126600 with the lens removed.Just curious to see if it'd bring the 'family look' back immediately.
Colareb strap
Hey folks,I have just bought a navy blue colareb strap for my 114270 explorer. Would you say it goes with the watch head? I am interested and would love to see pictures if folks here have... Thanks!
The new ticker
Hello gents,I'm looking to join the club, getting my first Rolex. :)I have been looking for ages, and think I finally managed to find one that seems to fit the bill. It's a 2008 YM platinum in almost perfect condition (95%). Been part of a bigger collection, thus only worn 2-3 days a month on avg. according to the sellerplete set........ only it hasn't ever been serviced!Seller, apparently a true watch-geek :) talks about having instruments that through sound, can tell whether or not the watch makes any 'wrong' sounds/needs service. My question is obvious: Do I have anything to worry about, or can a watch like this easily tick for 10 years without the need for a service? And if so, when should I expect to have to service it (planning on using it as my daily watch (desktop worker))Seller is asking top-price for the watch (€6.600 non neg.)Looking forward to your advicesThank you in advanceSam
