In the 1950s, students at New York City high schools had the opportunity to take a class on watchmaking. This class was taught and the curriculum developed by members of the Horological Society of New York. Today, HSNY and HODINKEE are teaming up to announce Watchmaking 101, a revitalized version of this initiative. 2 OF 63 Watchmaking 101 is a single-session class in which professional watchmakers teach students will learn how a mechanical watch movement works and the fundamentals of using watchmaking tools. In this hands-on class, students will also learn to disassemble and reassemble a mechanical watch movement. 3 OF 63 Previous experience is not required, the class is free, and there is no need to be a member of HSNY. My first ROO need help.
I am looking to purchase my first AP ROO and I could use some help. I would like the case in the 41-43mm range and prefer a rubber or alligator etc. bracelet. I am open on dial and it does not have to be the chronograph. I would like to keep the budget between 10k-15k please help educate me on the best values out there for me. Also resale value is a big consideration. Thank you for the help.

Bezel refinishing
This engine turned bezel is pretty worn, even though we can only refinish the shiny blocks sticking out, it still makes a huge difference.
