Good/Bad deal?
Not an expert on Breitlings at all. Just wondering if you would consider this deal fair?I'm also puzzled on what the purpose is of plating anything nickel. In fact, anything plated to makes me want to run for the hills.E-Bay
Service Recommendation for a Vintage Omega Speedmaster
Hello all. Can anymore recommend or has any positive experience with a reputable watchmaker in the US? I know of Timecare and ABC, just wondering any other watchmakers specialize in only vintage Omega with original parts. I appreciate the help. BTW, here's my recent acquisition which needs a full service on the movement and possibly a crown and pusher replacement.
Mistake on Patek Philippe Website 5131J-001
I did a quick search and it looks like this was not treated on the forume before. Not that it is a serious matter, but I like these details... otherwise, why should I be interested in mechanical watches!? Where is the issue?.patekphilippe/content...001_print.html
Rolex price increase??
Hi guys,I was diving in the new Rolex catalog, exited to see the new GMT master ii Pepsi on oyster steel and jubilee, and noted that some models has new prices, for example the Hulk (not discontinued apparently) is at $9,750 now, instead of $9,050. Maybe I'm being redundant here but this is what I noticed. What do you guys think?
Shall next one be A Red SD?
Dear All, Greeting from Thailand :-) I'm started my little collection of 4 watches (Datejust II Two tone slate green roman, Sub No date, Sub Green HULK, GMT MasterII BLNR) in past 3 years. I wondered is it a good idea to get the RED SD for my next purchase or shall I stop here. Temptation never ends 5555. Please give advice. For your information I got all from retail AD price (pairing condition ofcourse.). HULK paired with the TT DatejustII. BLNR paired with my cousin DATEJUSTII SS. AD managed to allow me to get SUB ND without pairing condition. If I'm going to get the RED SD retail price I must buy another Rolex watch too to pair up the condition of purchase which I don't have any watch I wanted. Thank you in advance for your advices.
