AP ROO Navy 26470
Hi all,First thread in the AP Forum. Quick intro. All my watches have been Rolex (+ some pre-WIS purchases unworthy of mention), but about a year ago I started to get drawn into AP. The journey began with the fascination of the RO Jumbo, 15300, 15400, and recently the ROO Navy. Haven't seen a lot of mentions here like the Safari and Elephant. Is there love for Navy? Here's a shot of what I tried on last week (sorry crappy pic). I'd never thought a ROO could even be an option due to its 42mm size on my smallish wrist (~6.75) but I got bit hard. Just felt amazing on the wrist. The navy dial is simply mesmerizing with the orange highlights and details. Wow. The rubber strap, I think, is what makes this ROO feels like a perfect fit on a smaller wrist (or any wrist) Very curious about your expert input or insights here about this reference. Thanks for looking
Does anyone know how many limited edition speedy/rail/seamaster there will be?
Just wondering if anyone knows the LE number for these newest limited editions. I hear you can purchase them as a trio...I wonder if you get a better price if you buy all 3. Josh
White Nautilus 5711
I finally have a chance to get the Nautilus. My grey dealer has both the blue and white dials. The blue, however, has no box and papers while the white is BNIB. They are asking for USD38K for the white and USD36K for the blue. I am leaning towards the white for obvious reasons. I wouldn't consider paying this much amount of hard earned cash for a watch without papers. I've looked on chrono24 and it seems the white Nautilus ranges from as low as 32 to 40 thousand US dollars. Do you guys think this is a fair price? I live in China and I seldom get an opportunity like this. Your wisdom and advice would be highly appreciated. Here are some photos of the watch in question. Toshi Strap
So I'm relatively new to the Panerai scene, but already love the ease of swapping straps! I love the various browns people use and think they suit the vintage image of a Pam. There are lots of them however so I am feeling bold! Managed to get a lime green oem strap when I bought the watch and love it. After reading plenty reviews here and on various web sites I decided to order a Toshi Strap. I have started tame with light blue and brown stitching. The quality of the strap is the same, if not better than oem! I cannot recommend the starap enough. Very soft and supple from the outset, fits the watch great, and is very comfortable. Not a photographer as you can see, but being a petrol head I have taken a picture of my dream watch (real) next to one of my dream cars (sadly not real and only a model one!).[IMG][/IMG]
