Hublot Is Official Watch Maker & Timekeeper Of Ferrari
Hublot announced today that they have partnered with Ferrari to become (among other things) their official watch maker and official time keeper. This means that during their agreement only Hublot can produce Ferrari branded timepieces. Hublot will also be a branded partner during Ferrari events (and likely the Ferrari name will be displayed at many Hublot events). They refer to this as a "comprehensive agreement covering all the activities of Ferrari and Hublot..." I know, a bit vague, but I think we get the idea.Ferrari has had an interesting history with watches. For a long time there were a range of lower-priced quartz watches. Then they worked with high-end brand Girard-Perregaux for some nice watches. After that they entered into what most people generally agree was a failed relationship with Panerai. Patek 5990 vs WG/Black Face Sky Dweller on Bracelet
Contemplating purchasing one of the above. I've tried on the Sky Dweller but haven't been able to handle the 5990 in person.How does the 5990 wear compared to the Sky Dweller? Is the 5990's case taller than the Sky Dweller's (Patek's website conveniently leaves out the 5990's height)? How much thicker is the 5990 than the 5980?For those that have handled both, would you agree the GMT function easier to read on the Sky Dweller?Any input would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

5205r - black or white?
Patek Fans,I have twice within a week gone to Tiffanys in NYC to arm test the 5205 models. They have all four models (rose and white gold). No question for me it will be one of the rose gold models. Both times I have gone in with the black as a clear favorite. It is simply stunning - but the white also pops much more than I expected. Both times I have left with the black as a 51-49% marginal favorite.This will be a very close call. Which one would you pick? Thanks for your input.
