Interest Grows For The RSW Outland Watch: Pride Of Post Modernism
Near the time of its release, I talked about RSW Outland Watch, and mentioned how much I liked the use of disc displays rather than hands. It is a refreshing change, and functions in what I termed a "digilog" manner because it was part digital, part analog. The outer disc displays the hour, and moving inward you get the minute, and then seconds. Since then, I have had the opportunity to learn more details about the interesting RSW Outland, which deserves additional attention given to the watch.For one thing, the Outland will be available in more colors and materials than just the PVD black on black strap. Greeting fellow enablers. Been a member for about a year and have truly enjoyed the camaraderie and the wealth of knowledge that has helped guide me. Recently was gifted a DJ II I have been after for a few years and was pleasantly surprised by my wife with that very model for our 24th anniversary. It's stunning and everything I thought it would be for my first Rolex.I have some very capable ponies in the stable in the form of a Ball NEDU, Ball 60 Seconds II, and a lovely Ball Marvelight. The new Datejust fits right in the rotation nicely but I find myself cautious about its durability, probably because it's just so gorgeous! My Ball NEDU gets the most wrist time as my daily driver. No worries about it's ability to stand up to my day to day activities.My question is this, any issues with maybe adding a SubC Date to round out the stable? Durable? Check. Iconic? Check.
